Lavender London Fog

Delicious homemade lavender London fog| Mossy Meadow Farm | Intentional Living in the country with herbs, spices, and botanicals

Have you ever tried a London fog? You totally should!! Go get yourself some Fair Trade Earl Grey tea (or even better—learn how to make your own earl grey tea here!!) and indulge! Kick it up a notch and make it a Lavender London Fog! Here’s how I make it.

Lavender London Fog

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons earl grey tea

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried lavender flowers

  • Splash of vanilla extract

  • Milk of your choice (about 8 ounces)

  • Water (about 12 ounces)

  • Honey to taste

Directions

Bring water to a boil, pour over tea leaves and lavender flowers if you choose to use them. Allow to steep for 3-5 minutes. While the tea is brewing, pour the milk in a small saucepan. Over medium heat whisk the milk constantly so it froths. Once it’s warmed and nicely frothed remove from heat. Remove the tea leaves and stir in the vanilla and honey. Divide between two mugs and top with the frothed milk. Enjoy with a friend, or drink them both yourself. 😂

**If you’re using high quality tea leaves you should be able to get a second brew out of the tea.

And that’s it! Easy peasy and mighty delicious!
