These companies are a few of my favorites for gardening supplies, herbal supplies, education, and more. A few (not all) are affiliate links which means if you purchase through one of these links it does not cost you a single penny more—but it does give me a small commission. Read more here. Herbal Academy Courses

The herbal academy of new england

The Herbal Academy is one of my very favorite places to learn about all things herbal! I’ve taken several of their courses including the Intermediate Herbal Course, the Stress Management Course, and the Herbal Materia Medica Course. I highly recommend them! I have taken many herbal courses over the years, and they are by far my favorite place I’ve discovered. You learn on your own time but have access to teachers if you have any questions. I would also suggest taking a look at the Herbarium. It’s a subscription site full of herbal monographs, herbal eBooks, and some awesome short courses called intensives. It’s a phenomenal resource. Their blog is also a treasure trove of herbal goodness!

Starwest Botanicals

Starwest Botanicals is a great place to shop for most of the ingredients you’ll need for the recipes on this blog. They have great quality herbs, carrier oils, waxes, butters, essential oils, and more. I love that you can buy things in large quantities or in small amounts depending how much you need. They have many options for buying organic and Fair Trade which makes my heart happy.

Garden Essence Oils

Garden Essence oils

Hands down my favorite brand of essential oils is Garden Essence. I think their quality is phenomenal and their prices are affordable. I love that they have tons of organic oils and ones that are wildcrafted. Remember that there is no regulated standard for when a company says “therapeutic grade”. But organic is a regulated standard which I find much more reassuring. I am not compensated whatsoever from this company, I just love them that much and want to share my love with you guys.

Garden Seeds, plants, & Supplies

Botanical Interests Seeds

Great source of high quality seeds. They carry organic and conventional flower, herb, and vegetable seeds. I generally purchase the majority of my seeds from here and have been very satisfied every year. They offer some free coloring pages and free seed starting guides. You can also earn points for every certain dollar amount that you can redeem for free seed packets.

Bootstrap Farmer

This company carries high quality seed starting trays. If you’re tired of using those flimsy trays and pots that crack and crumple, check these guys out. Not only are they durable and strong but they created them with a large hole in the bottom which makes popping out your seedlings super easy. I honestly can’t rave enough about these guys.

Consumer Advocate

Curious about the quality of essential oils? Check out the great research done by Consumers Advocate. They took an in-depth look at 10 well known essential oil companies and third party tested them to see how pure they really are. The results are pretty fascinating!
